At present, the amount of tire scrap in stock worldwide is over 3 billion and keep increasing at the rate of one billion per year. These elastic polymer materials don’t melt, leaving them outside not only take up large-scale lands, but easy to breed mosquitoes, spread disease and pose a fire risk. How to process these tire scrap is a big problem facing to each country. There are many ways to recycle them, but here let’s know three easy and practical ways to reuse tire scrap.

Since rubber is the main material of tire scrap, tire scrap can be crushed into rubber powder by our waste tire recycling machine. It can be made into various products like rubber runway and products used in stall and horse arena.

tire scrapRubber runway is now widely accepted because of its excellent properties.  It has excellent elasticity and modest rebound flexibility, producing suitable bounce for athletes, thus protecting joint and ligament, reducing the risk of injury. Besides, it lowers the consumption of physical strength and enhances competition. More importantly, despite the higher costs on the surface of rubber runway, its durability and less maintenance can greatly reduce the labor, management and maintenance costs, which is an investment in the long-term benefit. Therefore it is a good way to reuse tire scrap.

Another good way is to produce arena flooring, bedding options and stall mats and flooring tiles. Take stall mats for example. A good mat is very important for livestock. Insulation against cold and humidity environments help protect cows and horses against rheumatism and fatigue. Rubber cow mat can even improve milk production. A dairy cow spends about 14 hours a day averagely to rest. Rubber mat reduces the stress of the cow and makes it lying comfortably thus encourage it to rest more, so they will in turn be able to put more energy into milk production.

In recent years, retreading waste tire is becoming the driving force of comprehensive utilization of used tires. Retreading refers to a re-manufacturing process for worn tires that have lost the use of performance. By doing this, it will prolong the life recycle of tire scrap and saving money. A retreaded tire only consumes 15%-30% of raw materials and provides 80% savings on fuel compared to processing a new tire. Through strict production and testing according to stringent industry standards, they are widely used on various vehicles ranging from airplanes to taxis. Environmental problems caused by waste tires are solved at the same time.

No matter we use which way to recycle waste tire, it is better than nothing to do. And for processing waste tire, we also need to choose right machine like rubber crusher, tire shredding machine, etc, avoiding to cause extra pollution.
